The weather has stepped a notch again, by 10 am our camp and tent was bordering on unbearable. We headed for the pool.
Hours later, we emerged for a late lunch and headed for the bus stop. The bus was waiting and took off as soon as we alighted. We settled into our seats on the boat then motored out once two other boats had come in.
Two hours of bliss followed, bird and crocodile spotting, and some aquatic plants. We saw a water buffalo hiding behind trees.
Note the crocodile decoys placed on the billabong to protect the tourists.
The sunset was dreamy, the guide/driver cut the engine and silence eventually prevailed. My camera battery had run out by then so I used Justin's phone to snap the sunset. We weren't sure if I could get these photos onto the blog yet, but they worked!
That night the weather was so sticky we had tuna salad for dinner with a sweet chilli dressing. No hot stove time for me!
