Day 16 - Dalhousie Springs

This day ran pretty much the same as yesterday, except we went to the Dalhousie Ruins late afternoons swell as swimming. The sun setting on the ruin walls looked amazing, and the moon out, huge in the sky and close to full.

The Date Palms are have been left here for their historical significance. Only male palms are left as they don't reproduce and become a pest like the female plants.

Below are the stockade fence vertical posts. Made out of rivergum and unused since 1924, they are withstanding the weather better than the buildings. They have had to be partially rebuilt.

BBQ version two tonight, plenty of homemade chutney in stock to spice up the sausages!
